WWW Neurobeat
music project
WWW is a Prague-based music project that blends experimental hip-hop, industrial electronica, and poetic spoken word. Their lyrics are dark, surreal, and linguistically precise, often balancing on the border between poetry and manifesto. The band was founded in the late 1990s by producer and rapper Ondřej “Sifon" Anděra. He was later joined by artist and lyricist Lubomír Typlt, who is a non-playing member of the band. Anděra performs on stage with singer Milesa Zrnić. The group, whose name originally meant “We Want Word", is one of the pioneers of Czech alternative rap, with a sound that combines solid beats, layered electronics, noise structures, and distinctively figurative language. They have released the acclaimed albums Neurobeat, Tanec sekyr, and Atomová včela, which had a powerful visual accompaniment in the form of music videos and concert projections. WWW has performed at festivals all over Europe (including Eurosonic in the Netherlands and Fête de la musique in Paris), and their concerts are known for their intense atmosphere and emphasis on connecting music with visual art.
