Anna Kameníková

Anna Kameníková studied acting at the Prague Conservatory. She entered the public eye in 2011 when she played the role of an abused girl in Jan Hřebejk’s film Innocence. She was nominated for a Czech Lion and a Czech Film Critics’ Award for her performance. She was subsequently nominated for two more Czech Lion awards – in 2020 when she played the title role in the miniseries Božena and two years later for her performance in the film Grand Prix by director Jan Prušinovský. Since 2023 she has been a member of the ensemble of the Theater Na Zábradlí, and she also performs at Činoherní Klub, Divadlo Letí, and Vzlet. In addition to film and theatre, she also works in radio. She narrated, among other things, the audiobook for Anna Cima’s novel I Wake Up in Shibuya (Probudím se na Šibuji, 2018), for which she received the award for Best Female Performer in the Czech Audiobook of the Year Awards.
