Concert by the fire: Dežo Ursiny Tribute: Kubo Ursiny & Provisorium (SK)
Kubo Ursiny & Provisorium carry on the legacy of one of the most significant figures in Slovak music – the composer, singer, and guitarist Dežo Ursiny. The project is led by his son Jakub (Kubo) Ursiny, who, together with the band Provisorium, performs a cross-section of his father’s work, ranging from early songs sung in English to his landmark albums created in collaboration with the poet Ivan Štrpka. Provisorium approaches Ursiny’s work as a living legacy that, even decades later, retains its extraordinary artistic power and continues to resonate with new generations of listeners.
The evening will be hosted by Petr Vizina.
